UK Quangos Cost a Fortune and Employ an Army

According to a 15 Sept 2025 report from www.taxpayersalliance.com 438 quangos accounted for £391 billion in public expenditure. Quangos received £411 billion in 2023-24. £376 billion of that was funded by government. There were almost 500,000 staff.
